notification bell and rewards icons missing in microsoft start default page on edge

since few days, the notification bell icon (rated/answered comments from media articles, new followers, etc ), smartphone icon and microsoft reward icon in the top-right corner of edge default home page (the one with daily news, weather, etc) all vanished, i have only the parameters icon available.

all notification are checked "on" in microsoft start config page.

and the icons appear without problems in the differents press articles pages, the missing icons problem seems to occur only in the edge new tab default page.

how to get the icons back???

    Same with me. One day it came back like normal. Then another update and it was gone again. Problem has to be on Microsoft's end.

    Agreed! It disappeared then came back for a week then the new upgrade and now gone again. Makes me wonder if they even care it's gone.

    It seems like it was an intentional update to the new tab page that did it. The option is gone for me across all browsers on all devices. It's not a browser update, I have a version of Edge that's several updates behind and it's still gone. It's the MSN new tab page specifically.

    I would very much like for that to come back. Or at least to be optional.

    Not sure how resetting everything worked for you.I reset everything and lost all my account information. I still did not get the notification bell back. So resetting did not work for me.
