How do I solve this issue?
FIX: Insiders not able to switch channels - **UPDATED 8/3/2021**
Hello Windows Insiders!
Windows 11 is now in the Beta Channel, and some of you are wanting to move over from the Dev Channel. We've been getting some reports that some of you are not seeing the options to change in Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program. We have a fix that should get you back on track. Please note, this fix is for devices that are not showing the Choose your Insider Settings and Windows Insider account settings, as in the image below.
If you are seeing this, please follow the steps below to restore the missing options:
- If you have Bitlocker enabled, please suspend it.
- Click Start
- In the search box, type cmd
- In the lower right of the search results, under Command Prompt, click Run as Administrator
- On the UAC prompt, click OK
- At the elevated command prompt, type: bcdedit /set flightsigning on
- Press Enter
- At the elevated command prompt, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} flightsigning on
- Press Enter
- Reboot the device
You should now see the missing options:
If performing these steps to not resolve your issue, please file a new feedback item in Feedback Hub, so we can investigate.
Thank you!

2021-08-27T01:13:53+00:00 I got this reminder "again" telling me that it might be a good idea to change from Dev to Beta?! The dev team needs to coordinate with the Insider Team. I want to move, but I can't. So either it's a Pri2 Bug or the messaging from the Insider Team via email is out of synch with the folks moderating the Insider feedback are out of synch with the folks sending out the emails.
QUESTIONS: As I cannot change from Dev to Beta, why am I still getting emails (today) telling me to do so (but I can't) is my only option to Pause updates every week, watch the flight builds for the next beta, unpause, then hope I get the Beta and not the dev build?
Please file the bug as Pri 2 and someone get the messaging straight! All I expect is a clear answer. So far, none of the responses I've gotten identify if my hardware is incompatible. I've read the minimum requirements. I know MSFT has my hardware profile on file as I've been dev testing for a long time. Now I want to follow the advice given below. FIX THIS!
