***UPDATE***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    So  then  would  this  work: Clone  my  current  Win  10 Dev SSD  to  another  SSD  and  just  use  that  cloned  drive  for  the  Win  11 testing. Then  when  that  is  over, go  back  to  using  my  current Win  10 Dev  SSD. Or  would  doing  that  and  then  going  back  to  the  current SSD  mess  up  what  beta/flight/dev  channel I  am  on?

    Why is my CPU (AMD Ryzen 5 2500U) with 4 cores and base frequency of 2.00GHz, not supported for Windows 11? Would you please support it and add it to the compatible list? I do not want to upgrade to new hardware. It is a laptop only 1 year ago which has WDDM 2.7 and Direct12 supported driver, TPM 2.0 and Secure boot both enabled (implies UEFI), but the processor is excluded from the compatible CPU list. (2500X is supported, but why not 2500U?) Would someone please give me an explanation? Thank you!

    However I still think we can stay on the GA version of Windows 11 when it launches, just we won't be able to be in the Insider Program with the hardware Microsoft has deemed unworthy :(

    Whether we will then get normal windows update updates whilst on the GA version is unclear, other versions of Windows always had minimum requirements, but unsupported hardware always found a way ;)

    Says my process is not supported.

    Have a sixth generation Intel i7-6700 which I verified is listed as one of the processors Win11 does support.

    TPM is turned on in the bios and shows as ver 2.0 in device manager

    24GB of Ram

    Nvidia 1070 graphics card

    Over 70% free space with 1TB Sony 970 EVO plus
