For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    as far as windows 10 to windows 11 upgrade is concerned, it is likely to be offered as a free upgrade through windows update, if the device meets the minimum published spec at the time.

    the upgrade should not affect installed apps, you will be notified at the time if you have any apps that are not compatible.

    it is always wise to perform a backup prior to the upgrade in case things go wrong.

    we will get more information nearer to the launch, with a poor or limited internet connection i would not recommend joining the insider program.

    for your Microsoft Office question you would be better of starting your own thread in the Office forum, the experts there may have some advice for you.

    Can you please tell me ,if you have windows 10 laptop and an Office 365 subscription will you have to then purchase it the same as with windows10. For windows 11. I cannot even use the one I have at the moment because it will not connect to mobile wifi and I do not need ethernet. I could not down load office 365 due to our slow internet in the country. It is 4g but mostly 3g. An assistant online helped me to download it and was great but problems with the internet connection. Now! I am paying for something I cannot use and it locked me out as well with Office. I would love to purchase windows 11 eventually but fear I will have the same problem. I only have prepaid mobile wifi and was using a prepaid Telstra Dongle but it just stopped working and cannot connect by my mobile. Sorry if I have come to the wrong section with this but getting very frustrated when I am paying to use it and cannot. It is effecting our rural areas in the country and we are really tired of it costing us more when it shouldn't be! Hopefully the technicians can hear our pleas and help us enjoy our internet too!     I have all the criteria satisfied and signed in as Insider. I had been an insider since Windows 8 earlier issues/. But on trying to upgrade I get the following popup. Please advise.

    My Computer always crashed if I install Win11.(It will crash three or four times one day.)

    When Crashed,the computer looks locked. The voice is like a bee.

    There has no thing abot this status.Only restart can recover.

    I reinstall the driver of SATA AHCI,it looks not work.

    But my computer is work ok on win10 21H1
