For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    hi this is paul f. if windows 11 will require a 7th gen or newer cpu how come i cant get back in the beta channel where i was before repairing my windows os. and by the way win 11 preview runs well in a vmware virtual machine. specs core i5 7400 processor 3.00 ghz 16 gb ram 1tb hard drive and intel hd graphics 630 wddm 2.7 driver.

    The Intel I5-3470 is a 3rd Generation Intel Core processor, Windows 11 will require a 7th Generation or Newer, and so, also your computer will require a Trust Platform Module 2.0 version, or UEFI System BIOS that support TPM2.0 functions via firmware.

    Security functions designed into the original "I Core Series" of processors, had many faults and flaws. With further development, most of those issues have been eradicated from processor design by the 7th Generation, this is why Microsoft has made the basic requirement to be 7th Generation "I Core Series" chips, and 2nd Generation AMD Ryzen Processors.

    The other reason is Windows 11, will be the beginning of a root out of 32 bit function from the OS. So older chips, which were more based around 32 bit backward compatibility, and where as the newer chips, have more support for the future 64 bit environments.

    So, as it stands. either stick with Windows 10, or purchase new components... IE.. Motherboard, Processor, TMP2.0 and 16GB of Ram, to fully enjoy Windows 11 support.. and if all else fails... There is Always LINUX.

    hello people,

    The setup of the whole in Windows11 is good, only you forgot one thing that value of Windows. If you only make demands on the hardware and not on the software, then you are going in the wrong direction. Apple laughs at your settings. The settings you want are still not feasible. theoretically a lot is possible but practically. Bill said in a 1985 press conference I will make sure that all systems can run on windows like a ladder everything is accessible. Now you can't run your own system on all PCs. Everything changes day by day. If the banks and large companies are still working with XP, you cannot expect normal people to meet these requirements. Start updating the BIOS and work with the major brands to improve it. The customer is at the end of the line not at the beginning.

    *URGENT*

    Is anyone else getting Standard Hardware security not supported after upgrading to the win 11 insider build? I am getting that. Before updating to win 11, my device supported 'Enhanced Hardware Security'. But after win 11 update it is saying standard hardware security not supported. I don't know why . I have tpm, secure boot, uefi, and even core isolation enabled. the tpm.msc is also showing that my tpm is ready to use. secure boot is also enabled. I have given my feedback too.
