For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:
Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.
We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

Ok here's my 2 cents. LOL
They said that TPM has been around for the last 5 - 7 years.
“Almost every CPU in the last 5-7 years has a TPM,” explains David Weston, director of enterprise and OS security at Microsoft.
If that's the case, then those CPU's should be supported to be able to upgrade to Windows 11.
My PC, which is 3 yrs old, has TPM2.0 And passes every requirement except the CPU.
i have signed the petition as well to remove the requirement. there's no need for it.
i understand security is important. but really? lol.
My PC checks all requirements except secure boot as it's a Lenovo PC from 2008. It doesn't have the TPM module installed. I'm on the Dev channel, so I presume I will anyway be allowed to install Windows 2011. I think it's unfair that I must go back to Windows 10 ISO as a fresh install to opt into Windows insider program again. I'm not sure if I can get a TPM module installed manually for my PC. I can understand if I will encounter performance issues on outdated hardware running Windows 11, but my machine runs great today. I'm willing to try Windows 11 and if I see performance issues, will remain happily on Windows 10 as I don't have a lot of issues with the OS.
I own a MacBook Pro as well. I hate what Apple has done with their upgrade policy because they keep me on High Sierra and they deem it not fit to run Catalina/Mojave/Big Sur OS, even though my machine can easily run it with no performance issues. I've been going out of my way to keep out of Apple ecosystems since then. This TPM / Secure boot requirement looks like an artificial restriction by Microsoft and I don't like it. It's especially cruel to give us a taste of Windows 11 and once general availability kicks in, boot us to Windows 10 again to install a new ISO for a clean install.
TPM has many unpleasant features.
For example, in Russia, FSB authorization is required to use such a module, and with a high degree of probability, an ordinary user will be denied such authorization.
