Fingerprint Sensor Not Working After Windows 11 Update

I have an Asus Vivobook 14 X413JA.

Yesterday, I downloaded the windows 11 insider preview build from the dev channel, but I was disappointed to find that windows hello couldn't recognize my fingerprint when I tried to log in.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers of my fingerprint sensor but still, it doesn't work.

I have an Acer Aspire A515-55

Window 11 PRO Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000

I have the same problem with the fingerprint reader

I downloaded the driver for this laptop from Acer and installed it for a fresh install. This did nothing.

Then I followed your instructions and my credential manager was set to "manual". I changed it to "automatic" through a local account then went back to my MS account. I removed my old fingerprint from "Windows Hello" then put a new one in. When I closed the laptop and reopened it the fingerprint reader worked. When I rebooted it would not. It seems it isn't being saved for some reason.

    Did anyone found a solution because my figherprint reader still isn't working ... After all the updates in the WORLD since 6 months still win 11 can't see my asus vivobook 15 M513IA figerprint hardware ... speechless ...

    Ho scaricato il driver per questo laptop da Acer e l'ho installato per una nuova installazione. Questo non ha fatto nulla.

    Quindi ho seguito le tue istruzioni e il mio gestore di credenziali è stato impostato su "manuale". L'ho cambiato in "automatico" tramite un account locale, quindi sono tornato al mio account MS. Ho rimosso la mia vecchia impronta digitale da "Windows Hello", quindi ne ho inserita una nuova. Quando ho chiuso il laptop e l'ho riaperto, il lettore di impronte digitali ha funzionato. Quando ho riavviato non lo sarebbe stato. Sembra che non venga salvato per qualche motivo.

    Stiamo indagando sul problema. Nel frattempo, non esitare ad aggiungere il tuo problema a Feedback Hub. Apprezzo la tua pazienza.

    Stesso problema anch'io con NoteBook MSI Prestige Creator P65, all'improvviso non mi funziona più il sensore di impronta digitale. Aggiornato a Windows 11 Pro e sorgono subito i primi problemi. PERCHE' mi chiedo Staff Microsoft PERCHE'.....!!!??
