I can't add a phone number to my microsoft account on microsoft rewards.

I clicked "add phone number" on manage how to sign in with microsoft. I then added my phone number and recieved no text. I resent the code and yet recieved no text. I restarted my phone, reset the wifi and looked at other articles with people having this problem. Nothing helped. Please don't send me the microsoft help page on this issue because that hasn't fixed the problem.

    We need to accept that this is broken and they are not going to repair it.

    Rewards are completely broken and pointless in their current state and they aren't going to fix it.

    I don't even get that far. I get an error message when submitting phone number..

    Tried home Tel and another mobile number without any luck..

    Hi!
    I've been trying this both on PC and on Phone, (Both yesterday and today) and the OTP is not being sent.
    So it's impossible to verify the phone number.

    Edited: For People having this problem: Your phone can block SMS OTP if it thinks the msg. is spam.
    My msg. was in the spam folder on my phone.

    It is February 2024 and I am facing same problem for more than a month. The steps you mentioned are not helpful

    I tried this and I do need a phone.

    I select the reward, click Redeem, Confirm, asking for phone verification with QR code, which takes me to add a phone number to my Microsoft account, go through all those steps, “You can not add this phone number as an alias”.

    I’m “earning” all these points and I can’t do **** with them because Microsoft doesn’t like my phone number.
