Why has MicroSoft Rewards daily points gone down to 195 daily instead of 210?

I don't know if I'm missing out on something because I'm level 2 and my daily total points has decreased from 210 to 195 due to the activities.

You won't hear this from anyone from Microsoft but in part so they can get more people to sign up for Game Pass and other services apart from earning credit to get said services for free (or at least not at the rate you used to be able to).

...will never be as popular as Google, now with the points being nerfed I don't usually use Bing at all...

100% agree ... actually go further and expect it does worse, it drives people to hate against bing, remembering how they were left feeling "cheated" rather than "rewarded".

The whole scheme is buggy, and "if" you report faults you get accused of cheating and threatened with an account lock - even when their own stats/records shown the obvious error ... it is so negative "rewards".

Take the calendar 1000 points - get the daily, have 352 days straight showing, but yet report the calendar only showing '3' pieces, somehow its my fault. Same with 'play console' reward, MS stats provide proof but again denial by MS and it's my fault.

Every sysadmin at work now HATE M$ and back any other provider in open preference. This is just so wrong, but on it goes, MS is so warped

Yeah for the last couple weeks it looks like the Bing Points are permanently nerfed for me sadly. I think they did this (IMO) to get more people to actually pay for Game Pass as opposed to getting it for free. I've also used points to buy games & dlc as well. Bing will never be as popular as Google, now with the points being nerfed I don't usually use Bing at all besides getting what points I can get each day. To be technical I think I can still earn the same amount of points but there are time restrictions on both the PC and Phone Bing searches. I can only do so many searches in a given amount of time. Its silly, I used to be able to do all of my day's PC searches & phone searches without these silly restrictions within 15 minutes or so.

My points are nerfed sometimes, other times I can earn points just like I used to though I suspect I will experience the permanent nerfing at some point. Microsoft won't admit it, but I would venture a guess to say that they have intentionally nerfed Bing to entice more people to Subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate. I use Game Pass Core and will continue to do so for as long as it exists ($60 a year VS $240 a year in the US anyways). Anyways the Bing points have come in handy, months of Game Pass as well as some games and DLC.....its a shame that Bing just won't let us get the same points we used to be able to earn them.
