I don't know if I'm missing out on something because I'm level 2 and my daily total points has decreased from 210 to 195 due to the activities.

It seems the rewards symbol (🥇) I used to access my daily rewards has completely vanished from my Microsoft Edge tool bar (I'm use the Xbox app). I had to do a search and add it to my favorites list. It shows up after I start doing my set, but the extra step is annoying.
It looks like they reverted the points. If you are level 2, you get 15 points each for the two locked activities, normal activities give you 10, and the ones that were 2 points are back to 5, at least for me anyway. Also, the puzzle thing is 1,000 now.
Not in AUS. I'm level 2 and I get just the 10 for locked, 5 for normal, and still 2 for the rest.
The puzzle keeps promising 1000, but it never gets rewarded.
Currently 3 pieces away so will wait, but not liking the chances.
Better still - Xbox rewards page showing more changes, and no, none the help players. Worse still the 'weekly' earned rewards get reset, so zero chance of this weeks (now 2 days down) and bonus/consecutive values also gone.
Also check DOB, phone (mobile & landline, who has that these days?), billing address and credit card and email (must contain actual name) ... failure on any point and brace for account lock.
