Thanks Mr. Aziz, it's work
Surface Pro 3 Type Cover Not Working, In BIOS/UEFI or Windows 10 after 1803 Update
My Surface Pro 4 Keyboard with Touch is no longer being recognized by my Surface Pro 3 after updating to 1803.
I have disconnected and reconnected dozens of times.
I have cleaned my connectors on both the Surface Pro and the Keyboard unit.
I have uninstalled the keyboard in Device Manager, as well as the mouse however the only things showing up there are HID compliant Mouse and Keyboard, nothing that says Surface or Type Cover.
I have hard reset the device several times (Volume Up and Power), also booting into UEFI/BIOS several times where the keyboard also does not work.
I registered my device with Microsoft to of course be told it is Out of Warranty.
I am in the process of downloading the Recovery Image from 2015 from a trustable 3rd party website since I cannot find any links to the recovery image on Microsoft's website. This will I think put me back in time to before the 1803 update as far as Windows is concerned, however I am not sure if that will fix my problem since it is not being recognized in the BIOS.
Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

2019-05-17T17:19:05+00:00 If you can see Surface Type cover after Settings > Devices > Related Settings (click on Devices & Printers) > then you do not have the same problem. The real problem is that the Tablet cannot see a working type cover, MS know about it and cannot or will not fix it.
But I am working on a legal solution that will help many of you.

2018-12-07T01:57:58+00:00 microsoft, stop asking consumers to replace type covers... i've 3 units of them, type cover pro 3 and pro 4.
none of them work. it's the firmware and updates caused it. stop soliciting replacement fee from MS users. that's gimmick to boost the sales of surface. it happened 3rd times now!
Your support engineers admitted this issue. stop giving untested updates and forced us to update. kind of violating user rights. you cannot force the updates without user consent, EU legal should review such approach.

2018-11-12T18:22:51+00:00 I have exactly the same problem... my colleagues at work have had the same issue and yes exactly the same response - pay $600-$100 dollars for something Microsoft have broken.
I have long been a MS advocate and repeatedly championed them against Apple - this though is a disgrace and my loyalty is rapidly disappearing.
I have put a video together that I am going to send them

2018-10-09T21:16:32+00:00 I have a Surface Pro 3 and the same problem as others in this thread. The recent windows update or firmware updates stopped the type cover from working. I've tried multiple keyboards from friends/coworkers. The Type Cover does not work in BIOS/recovery mode either.
