Type Cover not Working but ...

My type cover does not work and I left my surface aside the battery drained. I put it in the socket and the type cover worked. What will it be?

Do you have way to ask Microsoft to put the problematic firmware off shelf? As there are still new people got hit by the problem, it seems they have not done it yet.

And then people who for any reason tried to update from pre-Win10CU to lastest version of Win10 would get their tablet non-functional.

If we should blame whatever hardware vendor providing problematic firmware, I think we should blame Microsoft more for knowing the firmware problem for a long time and still not have recalled the firmware package from update catalog and/or the Surface Pro 3 driver download page.

Im experiencingthe same issue with type cover not working.

Havent tried the draining battery but will try that as soon as updates from re-image finish.

Not at all imprrssed with this. As you say microsoft need to sort this.
