Type Cover not Working but ...

My type cover does not work and I left my surface aside the battery drained. I put it in the socket and the type cover worked. What will it be?

    ms staff is so newbie they don t know anything and only do the thing like bot .repeat all the thing that not help anything ms staff plz fire u self out of company if u skill only beginer

    1 year after my keyboard brick.no fix .i went to another brand because ms don t care and don t want to fix their mistake. typecover keyboard is strong point of surface pro but ms ruin it and not fix it .i try to speard mine experience to everyone who gonna buy surface all facebook page all board and i do all the time since jan 2018 .go to hell microsoft .hope mine experience will help other to buy another brand

    Luky you i have tried to drain the battery, after I plug in my Surface pro 3 with the keyboard, I could never succeed to start the keyboard, I even waited all night and push the power button to make sure, the ball showing the battery down, did not show anymore, before to plug my surface.  I just bought a new Acer computer portable, I was just tired with my Surface Pro 3, cannot even sell it, Ok I can always work with bluetooth keyboard, but bluetooth, has to be started everytime you start the surface.  What a strong problem Microsoft is so cheap they do not provide a patch to solve the problem.

    btw, we should celebrate 1 year anniversary by the end of this month for this topic since this serious problem happened on the strategy product line of a famous and fabulous company - Microsoft
