Many thanks GF. That is useful to know.
Bluetooth Issues Since Surface Updates - 5 August 2021
The Bluetooth on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) has not been working properly since the Surface Firmware Updates this morning. I have to restart to get it to work and then it only works properly for about 5 minutes. I have tried rolling back and reinstalling the Marvell driver. Also the Bluetooth troubleshooter doesn’t fix it. Running that troubleshooter causes Bluetooth to completely stop working. Will you please fix this urgently as it is a major issue for me?

2021-08-17T21:14:38+00:00 Sadly, I tried this last week when it first started occurring. Worked for a while and then the original problem began again.
I thought I would update here that I picked up a USB Bluetooth dongle to troubleshoot with that and it's been working fine the last couple of days. It's plug and play (Asus BT 5.0 USB BT500), just had to restart the first time. Both BT keyboard and mouse work with it no problems. I'll try connecting with headphones later. That said, sacrificing my only USB port to either a keyboard or alternate BT USB dongle is not a longterm solution It is clear though, whatever issue we're encountering, it is directly related to the windows firmware not being compatible with the Marvell drivers in particular. I do hope one of them issues a patch or update soon.

2021-08-17T09:20:07+00:00 I've got the same problem after updating the bluetooth driver (via MS update) with my Surrrrrface Book 2 (13,5 inch model 1832 i7). Can't work this way so hope MS will solve the issue quick!

2021-08-17T06:59:34+00:00 I just spent the last couple of days troubleshooting this very frustrating issue. I left no stones unturned, have literally tried everything including regeditor and even a fresh windows install. When can we get a resolution from MS?? It blows me away to know this issue has been lingering for over TWO weeks and yet there are no patches deployed by MS. Very disappointing.
