Microsoft Surface Book Class Action Lawsuit

My Surface Book has also suffered the dreaded swollen battery that has caused the bottom of the keyboard to delaminate.  The swollen battery is making my $3,000 Surface Book a dangerous hazard due to the possibility of fire and explosion. After many hours of extreme frustration talking to Microsoft Support, I am so upset.  Is there a class action lawsuit for this issue?

    We have 53 of Surface Pro 4's that have had or do have the bulging screen. We were able to get most of them through the replacement process before the end of their warranty but still ended up tossing a bunch and now we are working through getting rid of everything Surface in our organization. Will never even think of owning one of these devices again and I steer every new organization we onboard well away from them.

    I own the original Surfacebook and currently am on the 3rd or 4th replacement from Microsoft. It is so ridiculous I've lost count. Each one they have sent me has had a bulging screen/expanding battery problem and some have had screen detachment issues and batteries that didn't even charge. It his beyond ridiculous. I have lost so much time and work. In the 3-1/2 years I owned it, it's been broken upwards of 7 months....

    If there's a class action, count me in. I'm also a member of that FB group, but the moderator decided not to move forward.

    I purchased my roughly $3000 surface pro and am having the same issue.  Contacted Microsoft and was told the same thing.  Please let me know if there is any lawsuit.  I am more than happy to participate.

    Hi, I foolishly bought a Microsoft phone which Microsoft killed of the following year. Foolishly I bought a Microsoft Surface book, with the exploding batteries. I contacted Microsoft and they offered me an exciting deal to purchase another Surface book with the same processer as my first for $600. I think not, I have been screwed twice. Wished there was something else that could be done.

    I would be happy to join in a class action lawsuit. I have a Surface book, 1 of 2. The first one the Battery expanded and split the case. The second is now on it's way had I continued to use it. BestBuy refunded on the first saying it was under warranty but now they say that this one is 3 months out of warranty.

    I had complained to BestBuy several times that the Surface Books seemed to be to hot when running. Microsoft should be responsible for manufacturing faulty equipment.

    I will never purchase another Microsoft electronic product. They can't be trusted and neither can BestBuy's Geek's. Their work is worth nothing.
