Surface Pro 4 Jul 2017 Update - Type Cover not working

I updated the latest update Jul 2017 and it bricks my type cover completely. Tried everthing, from reset, volume + and power, everthing including cleaning etc.

I just do not understand. When I did Apr 2017 update, it also half bricked it, but at least using volume+ and power helps, but now totally unusable.

If anyone come across, this, please help.

Anything else to try apart from the above steps (and cleaning the contacts, reset, etc)

I am running Win10, whatever current build is available, I have tried everything including making warrenty claim on Windows since my tablet is oputside warrenty. initialy rebuild resulted in typecover starting again. i have rebuld from immage provided my microsoft sevral times now. after months of testing and tring, microsoft told me it is hardware issue with tablet and that told me there is nothing they can do.

Ver disappointing, type cover stopped working without any apprant reason, magically just outside warrenty, I wont be buying any more microsoft products.

We'd like to know which Windows version and OS build is currently installed on your Surface. Can you also tell us the troubleshooting steps you've tried?

We're looking forward to your reply.
