Surface Pro 4 Jul 2017 Update - Type Cover not working

I updated the latest update Jul 2017 and it bricks my type cover completely. Tried everthing, from reset, volume + and power, everthing including cleaning etc. 

I just do not understand. When I did Apr 2017 update, it also half bricked it, but at least using volume+ and power helps, but now totally unusable. 

If anyone come across, this, please help.

    Micro$haft doesn't seem to give a damn about this issue or its customers. As a result, the IT department of the company I work for will not be buying their tablets. We are looking elsewhere for this functionality. And I will also be making it very clear to those with whom I speak that these tablets are unreliable and Micro$haft  does not provide appropriate support for them. I think Bill Gates is an incredible person, but this company he create has some serious issues, and if they don't want to pay attention to customer problems and stop trying to MILK them for every dollar they can, they are apparently people who need to learn their lessons the hardest way possible.

    I don't see reports of this here in the Forum. If you are in the US, you really

    should go to the closest physical retail Microsoft Store and have them test.

    what is "half bricked"? if you are in the US, go to the closest physical retail

    Microsoft Store and they will assist.
