Surface Pro 4 Jul 2017 Update - Type Cover not working

I updated the latest update Jul 2017 and it bricks my type cover completely. Tried everthing, from reset, volume + and power, everthing including cleaning etc. 

I just do not understand. When I did Apr 2017 update, it also half bricked it, but at least using volume+ and power helps, but now totally unusable. 

If anyone come across, this, please help.

    I've been emailing internal contacts about this every day and including links to

    threads in this forum and elsewhere. The lack of any kind of reply leads me to

    the conclusion that there has been a directive from on high to not discuss

    anywhere. You can certainly try @panos_panay on Twitter and "cc"

    @ConsumerReports

    other than that, your only alternative is to exchange, and it will cost you if

    you are out of warranty.

    I have tried everything and was one of the first to work with Barb and her suggestions. The type cover worked on all the surface Pros at the Microsoft store and their type covers did not work on my surface pro I barely use the surface Pro now because of this issue. It is close to a month since Microsoft updated firmware on my computer. I'm surprised that Microsoft has denied that they may have caused this problem.

    The keyboard suddenly stopped working yesterday. I did everything on the site. Still no help, I dealt with an online person. Who told me to basically do everything I did and a bit more. Still the keyboard doesn't work, but the mouse pad works weirdly the entire time. The keyboard is in good condition. So, buying a new one seems pointless. I swear. I don't know what to do this is outrageous!
