Surface Pro 4 Jul 2017 Update - Type Cover not working

I updated the latest update Jul 2017 and it bricks my type cover completely. Tried everthing, from reset, volume + and power, everthing including cleaning etc.

I just do not understand. When I did Apr 2017 update, it also half bricked it, but at least using volume+ and power helps, but now totally unusable.

If anyone come across, this, please help.

    Hey there,

Just had a thought about this. Reading through, your saying the drivers are not there, visible, for the keyboard?

When you plug your keyboard into other devices, they work. But not on your device. Now, I maybe wrong with this idea, But it is worth a shot.

Have you tried downloading the essential drivers for Surface 4 here:

    Regards,

by default, Windows 10 stores these files on OneDrive. Check to verify and if

necessary manually copy what you want to save to OneDrive or external storage.

You DO need to try a different keyboard first. If that fails, then you should

    try the wipe and reimage.

    >>will this delete / lose pictures, music, images, documents etc?  If so I'm not keen as these aren't necessarily all back up as yet.
