This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Recently receiving "No Bootable Device" error on Surface go running UEFI 1.0.34.
I've tried all the recovery disk options without success.
Have also noticed a few reddit threads with similar issues with this version in the last week or so
Anyone else seen this and managed to recover their device?
I have lodged multiple support tickets, confirmed there is no way for a user to roll back this firmware update.
I have also lodged a complaint here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoftfeedback
Edit: 11/7 - After 5-6 weeks I've finally been able to send it back and it's been a fee-free replacement. It has been a lot of back and forth and mentioning this thread with so many other instances of it.
Still waiting for someone to lodge this as a firmware issue.....and remove that version of the firmware from Microsoft site.

Just sent mine off to Microsoft support, don't give up.
My ticket open for a little while now. I have pointed them to this forum 2 or 3 times as situation developed. With same response of USB Recovery or pay for new device.
However this morning, without a prompt I have a callback from MS for some additional device info as it is going to be escalated.
I have a feeling there is some recognition. As some folks seem to have some devices replaced already.
Open tickets with MS surface support and have photos of UEFI screens to share with them.
Hello today is Friday July 8th and I am having the same exact issue! "No bootable device" when starting my Surface Go! if there are any updated fixes on this issue please respond to this post as soon as possible. I have been looking at potential legal action with other Microsoft users on Reddit. Thank You!
I just got a new device back, although my old surface was out of warranty.
A few hours later, all updates are installed and the surface Go is running on UEFI 1.0.34
