Surface Go uefi version is 1.0.34 and No Bootable Device error

Recently receiving "No Bootable Device" error on Surface go running UEFI 1.0.34.

I've tried all the recovery disk options without success.

Have also noticed a few reddit threads with similar issues with this version in the last week or so

Anyone else seen this and managed to recover their device?

I have lodged multiple support tickets, confirmed there is no way for a user to roll back this firmware update.

I have also lodged a complaint here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/microsoftfeedback

Edit: 11/7 - After 5-6 weeks I've finally been able to send it back and it's been a fee-free replacement. It has been a lot of back and forth and mentioning this thread with so many other instances of it.

Still waiting for someone to lodge this as a firmware issue.....and remove that version of the firmware from Microsoft site.

Ok folks, let's summerise the different types of comment here :

We can see that most of people are complaining about their device not working for the same problem, which definitely seem caused by a screwed update from MS.

    Otherwise, :

    a) People who are not able to reach MS technical support and ask for a link to reach them out

    b) People who are left alone without any support because of their geographical situation(better be in Europe and/or US, but not Ukraine)

    c) People who received a free new device and brag about it (lucky devils)

    d) People who tried to recover the device with a bootable USB drive

There is a very small proportion of people saying they managed to recover their data with a recovery disk.

Does anyone who see this message can relate they managed, despite the no bootable device, to retrieve their data somehow ? And without to make their device work again? (otherwise this trend would not have sense)

Thank you for your relevant answer!

My Surface Go is now a brick. Tried everything in your post, still absolutely nothing working. I can get into the ususal -command line, recovery disc, etc.

    Still says No Bootable Device.

This issue is not isolated, especially when you look at the posts in just this forum. What about all the posts likely in other forums ?

Microsoft is now showing thier contempt for people daring to suggest that their product updates are not fit for purpose. Shameful.

I have unfortunately lost a Surface to this issue as well, but after trying to call Microsoft and waiting over an hour and a half on hold, I heard from no one. I tried going about this online but there is a dent on the top left of my display and are trying to charge me over $300 to send back so do not want to get charged this amount as the issue relates to the fact solely that of the firmware as I can see through people's comments. I can't seem to find anyone else to contact in NZ. Is there an email address or someone I can talk to, to try and resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No luck for me. MicroSoft is offering no support. Only suggestion was to schedule an appointment with a BestBuy Store that is a service center. It is out of state and 3 hours away.
