Is anyone also having problems? I am all updated to 2009, all drivers updated. SFC reports no issues. Occasionally, when there's a crash my screen goes black for a few seconds.

I don't use my rear or front camera regularly so I have not faced this problem.

Of course there are many problem report entries in my pro 7 which are automatically sent

to Microsoft, but none of them really annoyed me like this DWM.

Unfortunately you have to wait so that the number of complaints about your other issue

exceed an amount and Microsoft starts to resolve that...

The good news is that this problem seems to be resolved for me.

After the firmware and system updates on 23rd of June, black screen and crashes are gone.

I waited more than 2 weeks to make sure this issue does not happen again.

The last problem report entry in the log page is for 23rd of June.

hope you be in the same situation!

Yes, my last entry of this is also on June 23, one day before I did those updates. It look very much like this is resolved now, after several months. FINALLY!

I still have a different problem where my Pro 7 crashes (BSOD) after using the rear camera with the error PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. Do you use your rear camera regularly, and if yes, do you have this issue as well?

If you either don't use the rear camera or you have this issue as well, I'd appreciate you clicking "I've got the same question" on this: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/surfacepro-surfver_surfpro7-surftop_install/constant-pfnlistcorrupt-bsod-on-surface-pro-7/8d3d5565-450a-4487-99cb-01b7b37ea4c2

    Thanks

    Hello,

We are also experiencing the issue.  Important to note, enterprise environment, uses SCCM/MECM for updates.

We enable updates directly from Microsoft adn apply the latest drivers and firmware and most of these issues have gone away - although, some of our machine which are using docks needed additional firmware (see this link - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023478/surface-update-your-surface-dock)

Having said this, we have seen issues with upgrades - which show successful, however, are problematic if the drivers and firmware are not updated to a compatible version of the target OS version (in our current case 20H2).

    Hope this helps.

Same here, although after it insta-crashed when I started using the pen I continued using it for a really long time and it didn't crash again. I feel like it's possible the situation is improved. More testing needed.
