Surface Book 3 Randomly Freezing

Hello. I was probably the first or one of the first people to complain about this issue. Using 1tb surface book with 32 gb ram and navidia rtx 3000. Real pro use: mechanical design 3d cad and graphics. Some video editing for my site.  Using high polling rate (1000) Logitech mouse, with usb receiver attached to the new surface dock

So, after months of complaints, and filing cases and getting an exchange I have to say that the latest firmware and software update fixed the issue. I had both my usb and mouse freezing issues and for the last 2 months it’s been running smoothly.  For my use case this is the ultimate laptop. Magnetic doc connector is irreplaceable. I wish though that for next release they get rid of this nonsense detachable screen. After using 2 generations of surface books I can tell you that’s it’s useless.

I echo the same situation of screen auto dimming when switching different content even though that "feature" has been turned off; and system periodically hanging for a couple seconds while I type or use a mouse or trackpad. Based on the others' reports this is not a unique configuration issue, but something more widespread and common. 

This is extremely frustrating when trying to work on such an expensive device. I welcome ANY help or advice that could be given.

Adam i dont think that microsoft is going to do anything anytime soon. I still have 4 Surface products with the same problems going on with each. I think its the bluetooth module causing all these problems and that would be one big recall for them. Im just going to return the remaing 4 products.

No Bluetooth devices here and mine locks up. Just locked up this morning. Seems to happen to me when i lock the computer and walk away for a brief period.  I come back 3 minutes later and screen is frozen, mouse is frozen, does not respond to keyboard input. I'm on a Surface Dock 2 so i unplug it and open the book. Frozen solid. Only thing that brings it back to life is 15 seconds on the power button. Once i'm back in i go to event viewer and same thing, nada.

I also recently updated to Win 10 2004. It appears the fix was not in it. I was really hoping i was buying a device that Microsoft would have put through rigorous testing, after all its got their name on it but i guess not.

I am feed up with all this, i returned mine got a refund and went back to Apple.
