Surface book 2 not charging

Hello, I noticed today my surface book 2 does not charge while plugging in the charger. I tried both while docking the keyboard in laptop mode and in tablet mode but both does not show any indication of charging. I also noticed the charger does not light up that white led to indicate charging.

    Hi,

    I just bought my new SB2 and just opened it and it is at zero battery and it is not charging!!

    what should I do?

    return it and buy something non-Microsoft

    My Surfacebook2 is by far the best laptop I have ever owned, I am pleased Microsoft has made real competition for the best Mac laptops.  I have come to totally depend on my Surfacebook2 as both a teaching professor and as a boutique electronic music instrument manufacturer .  Needless to say, I was dismayed when earlier today when neither of my two chargers worked.   I did get fast phone support and good warranty service (happy I got "Microsoft Complete") and replacement hardware is on its way.  I spent half a day on this when I had hoped to do other work - but being a small-time manufacturer of high-end hardware myself, I understand that sometimes things go wrong in new pushing-the-envelope designs.

    IM SO SICK OF THIS $4000 LAPTOP HAVING ISSUES!  FIRST THE DISPLAY DRIVER DISSAPEARS RANDOMLY, NO THERE IS NOT A FIX FOR THIS, BEEN FOLLOWING A FIX WITH SOLUTIONS THAT DONT WORK FOR OVER A YEAR, NOW THE STUPID CHARGER ISNT CHARGING THE LAPTOP, ITS LIT UP BUT NOT CHARGING!  IM ON SURFACE BOOK # 4 NOW, THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

    So now my Surface Dock is able to charge my Surface Book 2 but there is a warning icon on my power/battery with nothing saying what the warning is. So either I have a faulty AC adapter, faulty battery, or something is amiss but no indication as to what.

    Looks like you would need to use a different charger so we can isolate the issue. You can also visit the nearest local Microsoft Store for them to personally check your Surface Book 2.
