Surface Pro 7 display brightness does not chage

Hi,

Anyone has the same issue as me?

When I change brightness with keyboard it does change to 30-50% only (no visible change).

When changing in side swipe, with touch it allows me to change 0%-100% (no visible change)

I tried with nigh mode off... no change

Tried windows setting ... no change

Ambient light On/Off... no change

Can anyone help?

    This does not work. Surface Pro 7.

    If this didn't work for you then you shouldn't post. It waste pols time. It's appreciated but not helpful.

    I managed to fix it by updating my graphics driver using Intel Driver and Support Assistant to the latest Intel one, rather than the one OEM (Microsoft) customised one that is used by default.

    Yes, that's been my experience.  Uninstall the driver.  Problem goes away for a while...then returns!

    Nearly a year since complaints started and still i have to look this up, can MS just **** fix it properly already? Like a permanent fix, not just a "reboot good luck maybe it wont happen again for a while but it probably will", dammit this is like the third time.
