Surface Pro 7 Front Camera Not Working

I'm not sure when it started, since I hadn't used the front camera on the device at all, but today I noticed in the Device manager that the "Surface Camera Front" has an error:

This device cannot start. (Code 10) STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE.

Sure enough, upon opening the camera app, it acts as though I only have the back camera installed.  I am predictably unable to bring up the front camera.

Is there possibly a driver issue, or is this a hardware flaw?

**Edit**: Problem persists through reboots, disable/reenable, troubleshooter, etc.  Notably, I realized the front camera worked for at least the first hour that I had the device, since it shows you the camera feed when setting up Windows Hello.

    I hope that everybody can see the solution. I have a surfacebook and tried to share the answer on other post but they are all closed, you can't add a comment... so I can't share this with people that are waiting for the solution for months...

    Please Microsoft share the new !

    Hi! i just have one version. can I download the older versions from anywhere???? I have surface pro 6 with the same issue and I have tried everytn except this one.

    Same here. Tried the newer one first, and that didn't work, so I tried the older, and finally my cameras are back.

    Hello, can someone help me with this problem, I'm having the same issue as all of you guys. 

    I brought Surface Pro 7 July last year, I don't have a problem with it until the camera broke in the middle of my class. Until now I'm still fixing it, I tried everything that is commented and still not working. 

    I really need your help cause I will have a lot of online classes and need a camera, I don't want to use my phone for every class.
