We are aware that customers using Surface Pro X were having issues using the built-in cameras and we have resolved this issue with a driver update.   Please go to Windows Update to install the new driver named Microsoft Corporation – System Hardware Update – 5/26/2023.

Hopefully by the end of this weekend, or Monday, 5/29, you can push an update to us. Then, all the business users that utilize the camera for their livelihood won't have to go another work week with a nonfunctional tool that is essential to their jobs.

At the least, if they had to buy an external camera, you should reimburse them for the cost by providing a claim process for cameras purchased between 5/22/23 through the date of your update.

Hello? Any updates? Silence from Microsoft other than yesterday's unhelpful Microsoft employee post, no matter how well intentioned, isn't particularly helpful for an issue of this size and scale.

It is good that it is not hardware issue on my Surface Pro X. I have even done a factory reset. I am waiting for fix. I hope that will be release very soon.
