I just noticed this recently but sometimes I get a Random reboot not even doing anything particular. I also noticed twice that when I attached my Type Cover 2 it reboots. Example I attached it and the SURFACE logo shows and it boots up.
Anyone else experiencing this.?

Same troubles. Started yesterday and rebooted four times within five minutes. (Surface Pro 1) Started happening after installing recent update. Need to fix this as soon as possible. Typically occurs when internet is in use, regardless if I am actively using the web. Happens with internet in the background and opening files. Recently started right after hitting the start screen. Thanks guys, I hope windows fixes this business.
Nothing in the patch descriptions that sounds like it's fixed. Unless there's more patches to come later tonight.

So today my touchpad stopped working on my Type Cover 2. So just lifted up the surface from it to set it back down to reconnect the cover and it rebooted.
I really don't get this!
I had to open a Support Chat with Microsoft today to find the status since I still have not heard from my email rep back on Nov 25, 2013. The Chat Rep reviewed everything they could and said I should be contacted in 24-48 hours. I'm hoping for some progress and a response. It is unfortunate that I had to make a little noise for my case status to move up a little.
