I just noticed this recently but sometimes I get a Random reboot not even doing anything particular. I also noticed twice that when I attached my Type Cover 2 it reboots. Example I attached it and the SURFACE logo shows and it boots up.
Anyone else experiencing this.?

Mine was doing the same thing with the same config, but ever since doing the UEFI screen trick from a few pages back, mine hasn't rebooted. I just checked my event logs, and the last time I had a kernel-power and kernel-PNP event that I think was the reboot was on 12/26.
I want to add myself to the list of people having this problem. I have a Surface Pro 1 with a Touch Cover 1. Sometimes the reboot happens on its own, but often it seems to happen when I pick it up or touch it with the cover folded back.
I have it saying 4gb (3.89gb usable).
Same here, weird. But it was not like that all the time, if I remember correctly.
Can I ask a random favour.
On your surface pro where it states your processor, ram, OS type etc (Control Panel -> System)... can you tell me what you get next to the installed memory (RAM) bit.. in particular what it says is usable?
