Surface Pro 1 on Windows 8.1 reboots when Type Cover 2 is removed

I just noticed this recently but sometimes I get a Random reboot not even doing anything particular. I also noticed twice that when I attached my Type Cover 2 it reboots.  Example I attached it and the SURFACE logo shows and it boots up.

Anyone else experiencing this.?

    So I just had my first restart after a while. So all those things did not fix the problem =/. Could it be, that my cover is defect and is causing this behaviour?

    So I have this issue, not just when browsing. And I did wipe\reinstall both with the surface wim and with a windows 8 disc and installed drivers than updated to windows 8.1

    Hey!

    I originally did the clean install first, and the rebooting was still occurring.  Then I heard about the fix I noted on the previous page and then it worked.  I've not had a random restart at all (apart from one blue screen) since clean install then resetting to Default Secure Boot keys. 

    Since you have done a clean install I would now re-run the steps to set back to Default Secure Boot keys.

    Thanks for the tip. I just set back the default secure boot keys and it seems better now. I will let you know, if this fixed it :).

    I just had my first restart with the same error in the log :(. I think, that it got better though, but it did not solve the problem completely.

    Whoops, I take it back. Second restart in short time :(.

    I did a clean reinstall. No Change.
