I just purchased the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and have only been using it for one day. In that time it has frozen and completely restarted itself 4 times. It is brand new and I probably only have an hour or two or screen time. There is no specific thing that causes it, the screen just randomly freezes until the surface restarts on it's own. Any solutions or help would be greatly appreciated.

I completely agree, but I did attempt all the fixes that were listed, installing the Intel updater and installing the later video drivers cured the re-booting, but still have a bit of a flashing screen and occasional freeze. All cured by deleting the video driver, but then the graphics are not so good.
I have discovered that One Drive was the cause for my SP7 file explorer to keep freezing. I am not sure whether the cause was that I had to different one drive accounts or one of them is causing the issue but will update once I do some more testing. Hope this helps.
This setting option does not show up for me. Is there another place it could be located?
