Update: Using the recovery image made it "better" but the device is still in a completely unusable state. The battery drain and extreme overheating is gone. It was able to stay on without needing to be connected to the charger. It has since reverted to boot looping unless it's connected. And while it is on, the screens will flicker off and on. But hey, at least I don't have to worry about it overheating... until that starts again too.

Seems to be very situational - for my Duo 2 and my wife's Duo 1 it has worked since applied just after patch day. Peoples millage may vary etc ...

Did not solve the Issue. So I suggest to keep yours saved connetions untouched.

What helps temporary is to switch off you wifi when you are about to leave the coverage of your network. If you are in a mesh network switching between the access points causing also crashes (at least in my enviroment and what I read from other users).

Yes. Had exactly the same problems. Duo 2 kept starting randomly. Turning off VPN (NordVPN app) and reset Wifi/Bluetooth in the settings, as well as manual restart after this works so far. Battery usage remains unusually high. Turning off Windows connection and setting Launcher to save battery helps partly. Turn on WiFi again. No restarts so far.
