Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6.

I've read that the helix is even worse and doesn't work with pressure sensitivity at all...

Its really not a question of if Adobe should fix it or not.  If it had an NTrig digitizer, we'd have known from the off that it wouldn't work, and I wouldn't have wasted my money, but it didn't.  It had a Wacom digitizer, and it was misleading for microsoft to produce literally the only wacom digitizer that doesn't use wintab.

We were also told that a fix was being developed then being tested, then somehow being developed again, then absolute silence.  We don't even rate a simple explanation of where they're at with a crippling issue.

Apparently the same day I managed to get a shipping label, the better half decided it was fine to chuck the box, so looks like I'm back up a creek.  Off to ebay, I suppose.  The helix looks promising!

You're right. No matter how we look at it, Microsoft should be responsible for their product and for their customer's satisfaction. In the future, I certainly won't be jumping into any more purchases from Microsoft with the same level of trust I jumped into the Surface Pro.

The main reason I bought the Surface Pro was for animation. I'm quite disappointed about the lack of pressure support with some software, especially ToonBoom Harmony as I wanted a portable animation studio. But today I installed the latest version of the Harmony and in the settings it allows you to disable Wintab support under a tab called "tablet support". So after unchecking the Wintab box and restarting the software, pressure sensitivity worked! So it's good to know that some software companies have thought ahead and gave users an option.

My only other note is that perhaps Wacom is not being very helpful with Microsoft's driver as Wacom is planning on putting out a similar device in the summer. If the Wintab driver worked on the Surface Pro, there's no way I'd consider buying a Wacom tablet as it would probably cost a boat load of money. So Wacom might be trying to slow down Microsoft's progress. But that's just speculation, I really have no idea.

I don't know I have been doing some research, and I don't know why the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T has wintab drivers, and it is a windows 8 tablet with  active digitizer like the Microsoft Surface Pro. If Wacom was scared the surface pro would take money away from their upcoming Wacom portable tablet then why does wintab works on the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T? I would assume the Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T would be the best options, and take away sales from the new Wacom portable tablet, but that's not happening. I think MS is the one who is not working hard to get wintab drivers out for the Suface Pro. Maybe I could be wrong. If some one has a better explanation please let me know.
