Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6.

I'm using Flash CS6 in Win8 on my desktop and it runs like all previous versions. Which is to say terribly. I don't blame Win8 for Flash sucking. I blame Adobe for making a giant flaming piece of **** that eats your work, and charging people for it.

Well guys, it is with a heavy heart that I'm returning this.  Honestly, I feel like I'm putting a child in a box and sending it back to begin its life as a gleam in someone else's eye.  I explained the situation to the Microsoft Store, (877 6967786) and they're going to send me a shipping label despite being beyond the return window.  Those of you who are in a similar situation and believe there is no hope, please give them a call.

I first called tech support, who didn't have any information at all, so I'm not sure where the above about blaming adobe came from, but every tech is different, I suppose.  Once I was transferred to the microsoft store, things went fairly smoothly, and they were a great help.

Its a shame, because this is exactly what I needed, except for the pressure sensitivity in the main programs we all need.  It worked brilliantly in every way except for this issue, and it is a shame that we couldn't even get a comment to let us know that help was on the way.  Adobe deserves some of the blame here, but they were a known factor when the Surface Pro was being designed, and should have been accounted for.

I'm not angry anymore, I'm just disappointed; for myself, but also for Microsoft.  This could have been transformational.  This could have enabled an entire generation of graphic artists to produce content anywhere.

This is sounding too much like a eulogy.  For those of you sticking it out, absolutely best of luck to you.  Thank you for fighting and for making every new scrap of information available immediately in one place, especially Barb.

After a long a conversation with Microsoft Tech Support I've basically gleaned that they aren't taking any responsibility for the incompatibility and place the blame on Adobe's doorstep. Especially frustrating to me is that the pen not only doesn't have pressure sensitivity in Photoshop, the brush in Flash is unusable as every drawn stroke takes 30 seconds or so to register freezing the entire program in the meantime. 

The patient tech support guy was getting all of his information from this very thread.

But Panos Panay has publically said a fix is coming. However, If it is some lame kludge that just adds the eraser or some similar truly insulting 'fix', I'll just barf on the whole Surface concept henceforth and move on.
