Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6. Was anyone able to get their surface pro to use the pen pressure sensitivity? In my photoshop settings when i turn on Pen Pressure for brush settings i see a yellow exclamation mark next to each settings which has to do with pen pressure. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please let me know.

Download the driver dated may 9th ...today.. install and

reboot.

    Absolutely.  It is completely ridiculous that with my brand new surface pro and the much advertised Wacom pen, there are literally only a handful of apps that support pressure sensitivity. This is unacceptable. I don't care if it is adobes fault, Microsoft should take responsibility and address this issue and pressure their software partners to support this feature.

    This is digital heartbreak. The Surface Pro is amazing. It's an absolute dream of a computer. I really don't want to return it in 14 days, but I'll need to without this feature.

     

    Is there any way we can have some sort of assurance, one way or another, within two weeks, so I know whether or not I must return this beautiful machine?

    Yeah: everything else about this device is just amazing.

    Sucks that Microsoft doesn't appear willing to pay the license for WinTab.

    Indeed, this is an essential feature to me. I waited in line at my local Windows Store and got a Pro the day it came out. I love it. But the pressure sensitivity (and touch pan and zoom, by the way) is essential to my hobby of digital art.     I realize that Sketchbook Pro works great (though no touch pan and zoom that I can see), but there are features I need for my workflow that it simply doesn't support. I need Photoshop. That's the tool of my trade.

    It looks at the moment like there is a standards war going on between Microsoft and Adobe, and we digital content creators are caught in the crossfire. This is digital heartbreak. The Surface Pro is amazing. It's an absolute dream of a computer. I really don't want to return it in 14 days, but I'll need to without this feature.

    no one is questioning whether Photoshop will run on the Surface Pro. people are

    discovering that with all the hoopla over the digitizer and stylus with 1000+

    pressure sensitive points that marketing deliberately omitted the info that the

    pressure/eraser features would not be usable with the apps that designers and

    photographers use most often. do you actually think that Photoshop users will

    accept using a PEN like a mouse as a substitute??

    why can't Microsoft customize and provide an appropriate driver from base

    drivers available from Wacom? it is soooooooooooooo unlikely that Adobe will

    make updates for this.

    Adobe updates their apps to take advantage of the new Windows APIs but Photoshop

    absolutely runs on Surface Pro and you can use the PEN in a similar way to the

    mouse. "
