Battery drain overnight while shutdown

Lately, after I shutdown (full shutdown, not sleep or hibernate) my fully charged Surface Laptop 2 at night, I turn it on in the morning and find that the battery has lost around 25% power overnight! What's going on and how can I fix this?

The laptop is only about 6 months old and the battery seems to be in good health.

Thanks for the insight, Rory. In my opinion the beginning of your day looks a little rough. 8% in 15 Minutes. I'm really happy for you that it worked. I think I try it, too. Haven't seen one who said it didn't work.

Seems this is a legit fix. Now people can either wait for an official release or join the preview ring.

Managed to get around 12 hours of battery life today, using my surface moderately. A user on reddit mentioned that you can gain a couple of percentages by reinstalling the battery/ac driver once you have the newest firmware as well.

How long will it take for the insider release to reach non insiders?
