Surface Laptop 3 Restarting Randomly

All I have gotten from Microsoft on this is ensure Windows Updates are complete and then try building from a clean build again and see what happens - NOT GOOD ENOUGH - enough people have already done this to find nothing changes.  There seems to be a fundamental issue with this machine.

I have the 15” AMD model with close to max specs.  I’ve run scannow and all that nonsense and get a clean bill of health. I get unexpected restarts every few days.  I’m fully updated.  This has interfered with my ability to work from home.  The reliability score on my machine is about 5 out of 10. This is troubling.

I have noticed recently that the restarts seem to occur with Microsoft Word and/or Acrobat DC running.  I just noticed the possible correlation, so I have limited incidents to check my theory against.

My software is fairly simple: Office, some Adobe programs, Firefox, and that’s most of it. I run personal and work Onedrive syncs.

This reatarting needs to be fixed.

I've been having this same issue since purchasing the laptop in April. I've called into support 4 time and none of what was done fixed the issue. It randomly restarts while I'm in the middle of using it. I usually have a few Chrome tabs open and 1 MS Word document open and have lost some work each time. Here's what they had me do (mind you I've called and chatted online with support a handful of times at this point):

1. Go to command prompt and enter restore health MS DOS. I've done this 3 times since May which did not resolve the issue
2. Install Windows Update on Oct. 14, 2020
3. Run MS system diagnostics yesterday - no issues
4. Run virus scan yesterday - none found 
5. Run MS scannow through command prompt yesterday - completed and restarted
6. Run memory diagnostic yesterday - Completed with no issues
7. Today - it randomly restarted again at 2:26 pm

This seems to be a massive problem on ALL MICROSOFT SURFACE LAPTOPS since the laptop came out. How is this still an issue?

So,  randomly mine started doing this again.  Fortunately it is a work computer and I was able to let my company know not to purchase anymore of the AMD version.   We had already started purchasing the Intel version and we had an extra.  So I said goodbye to my AMD version and now I have zero issues.  the machine is faster too.
