Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

I installed KB4505903 as well as the latest nvidia driver. This didn't work out for me, actually quite the opposite. The driver is malfunctional on an external screen. For instance, YouTube videos in the browser show in interlaced mode. Also, Lightroom, Adobe, etc. don't even see the dGPU and it is consequently not utilised at all (it always stays at 0 % in task manager).
BUT: I reinstalled the old official MS driver after installing KB4505903. So far this seems to work. I could run Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro for a couple of mins at full load, without the dGPU disconnecting. Before, it disconnected in a split second.
The bitter pill: The MS driver is so old that it is not supported by Premiere Pro's CUDA rendering engine, i.e. it is not possible to use the dGPU for video encoding, which is a real let down. But it is used in Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop, as well as in Premiere Pro editing.
It seems that indeed something has changed in KB4505903. Waiting for others to confirm.
