Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140

Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

October 2019 updates

The following updates are available for all Surface Book 2 devices running Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803 or greater:

    Same problem, 1903 and GTX 1060 with current Nvidia drivers presents unstable performance with dGPU disconnects, which crash REVIT and also periodic hangs of Bluetooth connected devices along with intermittent high latency issues that affect Traktor 3.2 with audio drop outs and crashes related to the Wdf01000.sys process.

    Hi,

    I have exactly the same problem, and in fact had another black screeen event half way through writing this post the first time.  I have a Surface Book 2 and since a Microsoft-forced update to my 1803 system and a subsequent upgrade to 1903, I get regular (hourly?) crashes of different colours, i get either,

    1. Black Screens because the nvidia disconnects
    2. Blue screens usualy a PAGE_FAULT in the graphics system, or
    3. Multi-colour hash screens accompanied by aloud buzzing sounds, please help

    Same problems to me,

    I spoke with microsoft support in Spain (I am from here) and the answer was the problem is already known by them (many reports) but, unfortunatelly, I should wait for the patch !!!,

    I am really angry also, I cannot understand this crazy situation. I cannot roll back to 1803 also (more than 10 days)
