Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

Seriously? I haven't been able to use my Adobe software for months now. Photo shop will at least function without the Nvidia, but Premiere won't. BSOD every time I try to use this $$$ GPU. I'm no programmer, but months for a driver issue on a $2800+ machine?
From a Microsoft employee: " I am told early next year (March time frame) is when we can expect a [new gpu] driver with the fix to be rolled out to the general public."
Which exact Microsoft employee made that statement and where?
Rediculous, Microsoft seems already abandoned the surfacebook line, there is no surfacebook 3, they gived up this product. I believe this is why issues on our devices is kept unsolved.

HOLY MOLY.
Has anyone in the beta ring gotten the beta driver? I cannot fathom why this is taking them so long. The response above was related to a gpu problem first identified in October 2018. So that would mean 1.5 years to issue a new GPU driver.....
