Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.
October 2019 updates

2019-10-03T16:34:29+00:00 I'm not excusing Microsoft's handling of this, but in case it helps anyone else on this thread, I just wanted to reiterate this workaround; it has solved the issue as described in the original post (i.e. the GPU disconnecting) for me and for others in this thread.
Note that others have complained about BSODs related to the GPU; I can't speak to that as I've never had that issue. I can only say that the following workaround SPECIFICALLY works for the GPU disconnecting.

2019-10-03T15:30:43+00:00 Wow, color me stupid. Microsoft introduced a bunch of hinged devices yesterday and no Surface Book 3...they've clearly given up on it.
So they're going to sell fancy mobile hinges now...****. This is a disaster.
This Panay guy is a total loss and they needed to get rid of him yesterday. Instead of trying to correct and refine what is already a very decent device - Surface Book 2 - they just drop it entirely and move on to the next fashionable area of tech which apparently is folding devices. They did this very same thing with the Surface Band 2, which was the best fitness tracker out there by far but had a material problem with the band (it broke too easily). Instead of trying to fix it by switching out the material, they just decided to let an excellent device die by the roadside and not even bother to try a simple fix.
I am just amazed at how MS makes decisions. It appears that they make outstanding hardware that need just a bit more work to get right, and then promptly give up on them.

2019-10-03T14:30:11+00:00 After the keynote where it looks as though Microsoft has washed their hands of the Surface Book 3, I'd say we're up a certain creek without a paddle.
It's SIX MONTHS that people are being forced to work with what is now a glorified Surface Laptop.
You couldn't make up this stuff!
