Surface Book 2 GPU Driver disappears randomly after May 2019 update

Hi, just recently installed the Windows 10 May update on my Surface Book 2. Now the GPU disappears randomly while in use. The only solution is to reboot the Surface Book 2, or go into the device manager and initiate a scan for the GPU to come back again. It has Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050 version 23.21.13.9140
Are there any plans for Microsoft to release an updated driver to fix this bug?

There are some updates that were pushed to PRODUCTION today https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history You do NOT need to join Insiders to get these.

2019-10-03T07:24:37+00:00 Rediculous, Microsoft seems already abandoned the surfacebook line, there is no surfacebook 3, they gived up this product. I believe this is why issues on our devices is kept unsolved.

2019-10-02T18:56:30+00:00 I've had this same issue with my Surface Book 2 with the GPU appearing and disappearing, resolved by restarting and then eventually it crops up again. I didn't realize it was caused by 1903 until it was too late and the 10 days period to downgrade expired.
In case it helps anyone else, yesterday (10/1) I grabbed Nvidia's latest drivers direct from their website and I've been symptom free now for 24 hours... certainly a new record. Just installed the drivers (not the 'experience' portion, when you're given the option in the Nvidia install process), rebooted, and so far no issues. YMMV.

i tested about a dozen different Nvidia driver versions since March. They all led to major issues including BSODs. After conferring with both Microsoft and Nvidia, it was determined that Microsoft's driver requires special code due to the dual GPU arrangement and both companies agreed that running Nvidia's driver will likely be problematic. I had to reinstall from scratch after trying one of the drivers as it completely borked my computer and Windows wouldn't recover (probably another bug). So make sure you have everything backed up!
