I'm tired of all these issues now. At first, a few days ago, I was working on this laptop and it shut down randomly. I switched it on, but again it shut down randomly. In 20 minutes, this happened thrice. I tried something, and then it worked fine for a day. Then today again, it is happening. The diagnostic kit says there's nothing wrong. Please help.

I hope that someone at Microsoft is reading this. This problem is a major bug that could end up with another Hardware Microsoft Adventure failure.  Instead of sending polls asking whether the battery problem is a problem, put your mind to solve this issue!

Another hint: This problem happens when my battery level is nearly 30%. Before, I was able to use it for al least +- 5 hours of video streaming. After that, it happens more frequently as the battery is out. After 17%, it is almost impossible to use it.

I purchased a pro 7 for the same reason, around the same time and have been having random shutting down issues and webcam malfunctions with it ever since receiving it! It HAS randomly shut down while I've been teaching online classes, which is incredibly frustrating since I bought it to resolve technical problems with my 5 year old laptop before Covid-19 moved everything online. The only good thing is that every time it shuts down during a class I've some how been able to log back in as a host and the students are still there. Not sure how that works but at least it wasn't too much of a headache once I got it going again.

Thanks, I’ll try this. To confirm, do I need to uninstall security updates as well?
