Surface Pro 3 Wavy diagonal lines when inking

I've noticed a problem with my surface pro 3 that I have not been able to work around.  When I draw a slow diagonal line, it comes out very wavy and jagged.  If I quickly draw a diagonal, it seems ok.  Has anyone else seen this, is there a fix for it?  seems to happen in every application, so it strikes me as potential hardware.

I think all surface pro 3 have this issue. If you want to draw a straight diagonal line you have to use a ruler and still you can see a little bit of wave on the line.

I'm experiencing the same issue with my new device, and it is so annoying for drawing that after a week I'm going to return it. Waiting for heavy pen improvements in the SP4.

    Hello MS community

I noted that there are many issues concerning jagged lines when drawing/writing with the pen. People are discussing calibration and driver issues.

On my Pen I have notived a very different thing that could be related to all those problems.

The tip of the pen has a lot of play (around 0.8mm side to side) so everytime the stroke changes direction you get a wrinkle anyway. I'm not able to tighten it up.

Can anyone confirm that the pen comes with this play built in, or maybe I have to replace it because mine is just faulty.

    Thanks

    Hello all

Thank you for reporting and keeping us up to date on specific details.  We are currently investigating.

    Best regards

Hi John, any update on this?

It's really sad to be experiencing this issue. With these wavy lines we can't do the thing we love most - draw. It's pretty pointless if the lines are wavy when drawing slowly at an angle. If there can't be a fix for this then I guess purchasing the SP3 for art is a bad idea. I hope this is not true and that Microsoft releases an update to fix this very soon.
