    If the email on your Microsoft account was changed, go to Microsoft’s account recovery page and try to recover the account using your old email, phone number, or other security information. If you can’t recover it, contact Microsoft Support and explain that the account was stolen and the sign-in email was changed.

    it is needed to tell your old account address but does not use it during troubleshooter.
