How to fix a trackpad that freezes for a few seconds repeatedly on a new msi laptop?
Hi i have a new msi laptop , the trackpad freezes for a few seconds repeatedly pointer on screen cant be moved then works again.
I have downloaded trackpad drivers and windows updates.

Go to Device Manager → Mice and other pointing devices → right-click your trackpad → Update driver. Alternatively, download the latest driver from MSI's official support site for your exact model.
- Disable "Palm Check" or sensitivity settings
Go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Touchpad and reduce palm rejection sensitivity — it may be misreading your palm as input and pausing.
- Check for driver conflicts
If you have a mouse plugged in, Windows sometimes disables the trackpad intermittently. Go to Touchpad settings and make sure "Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected" is enabled.
- Disable the "HID-compliant mouse" duplicate
In Device Manager, you may see two trackpad/mouse entries. Disabling the extra HID-compliant device sometimes resolves
