All of a sudden I'm being asked to subscribe to get Microsoft 365 but am sharing a family subscription with my husband. It says my subscription has been cancelled and directs me to the payment section. On his device it says i cannot be invited as I'm already sharing but i have lost the connection and can only view or print documents but not change or start new ones.. Can you help

Experiencing the same issue. Desktop Apps will not pick up subscription on accounts that have been shared.

It seems there is much bigger issues going on with Microsoft.

Yet another added to the list - obviously something has broken behind the scenes.

I also had the same issue this morning. I had a document open and all of a sudden, a message popped up informing me that my subscription had been canceled/expired. I checked my family subscription, and it was renewed just 3 months back. If someone could help, I would highly appreciate it!

Found a workaround. Try logging in as the main family member instead of trying to activate Office as a family member. Upon that, you can switch back to the family member.
