    PSA:

You do not have to subscribe to that increase. You can change it back to the no copilot version before your renewal.

It was not communicated nor had a opt out But you can if you want. It wasn't done smooth but it can be reverted back to no copilot

You can revert back to no copilot. You do not have to have it as a part of your plan.

You change the subscription and go to the regular Microsoft 365 with no copilot

Not forced. The option of going and changing it to the no copilot included is still there. But you have to go choose it, not opt out.

The issue I saw was there was no communication about the change and how to revert back. That was to me sneaky but I saw the change 3 months before my renewal and asked about it. So yeah they could have done it better but have not forced anyone

I don't know why people say things that aren't true. I think the whole thing's a ripoff too, I don't get that much from CoPilot so why would I pay more for it. But it's not shoved down your throats, You can opt out of it. I know because I already did and I paid my old price for MS Office. And there isn't really any good alternative or if someone found one please tell me. Google Docs is not it.

I agree. Just got my rate increase today. Pretty disgusted with Microsoft. The fact that they think that including CoPilot without giving people an option of whether they are even interested and then shoving a 43% on individual plans and 30% on family plans is pretty reprehensible. Microsoft...you are not too big to fail.
