Why has there been a 50% increasing the price of Microsoft 365 Personal? This is an extraordinary increase and unaffordable for most people .

I am in Canada and didn't get the option for Family Classic. I will try to turn off auto-renew and then cancel subscription and try again to see if that makes a difference. I did see the Personal Classic at a lower price but the Family one was higher than the renewal for the current one (which is a huge increase).

That's strange - I am in Canada and it stated a price of $109 for the Family Classic - it used to be $89. I wonder if I need to cancel auto-renew first.

Im from Australia- and when I cancelled subscription it did give me offer to change to classic - which I have now done.

Must be country specific then - I had no issues at all in the US cancelling the one subscription and changing it to the lesser one without Copilot that still cost 69.99. I was able to cancel before my subscription even expired, and it was set to automatically renew at the cheaper price. All went as expected a few weeks ago when the subscription ran out.

If you do this (don't want the increase and switch to Family Classic) the price is higher! It is scandalous how much they have increased it. I don't want Copilot either but we are being charged for it anyway. And I, like others cannot afford this. Absolutely disgusting Microsoft!
