I just swapped out my cpu, my previous chip had died and just received my replacement, both 5950x, Upon boot I received " New cpu installed, fTPM/PSP NV corrupted" and it asked me to reset, which I did, now im receiving the following error:

Evidently this issue has been resolved with the latest Dev-Build update (yesterday, Monday, Nov 15, 2021). I run Insider Editions therefore I cannot validate since I'm generally several days behind the Dev-Build OS updates. None-the-less, I wanted to share this information. The individual who posted did not indicate what the Dev-Build number is. Be patient is all I can say.

I installed Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22499.1010 (rs_prerelease) and tried it. Scep amd-keyid errors gone yes. But I'm still experiencing crashes in Red Dead Redemption. Windows Event viewer no longer has previous scep errors. There are no errors with the crashes I've had after the update either. I need to test more.

I wanted to provide some insight and hopefully some useful links. I troubleshooted my pc as much as I possibly could. I do not remember exactly when the the problem started but I do remember I was trying to fix an issue while playing CODMW. The game would suddenly crash every now and then. It would allow me to play a few hours sometimes so it wasn't so bad. But at times the game would crash pretty quickly or when in an intense situation so I decided I wanted to address it. I started troubleshooting the issue. I reinstalled drivers, clean OS install, game scan/repair, updated the bios, upgraded memory, and messed with some backend game settings. After reading a ton of articles regarding this issue I am under the assumption that Microsoft has to issue an update to fix this issue, or has someone found the solution?

Today I will be reseating the graphics card, cpu and rolling back the BIOS but I highly doubt this will solve the issue. My last option is to upgrade the CPU.

So i started getting this error after upgrading from the 2700x to the 5950x, It seemed to crash my pc every few hours but I stopped it from crashing by running OneDrive. Now every time i try to open the hideout in Tarkov it crashes everytime. Not sure what the issue is but it never happened on my old CPU.

I ran down this issue for some time. This is a follow-up to my resolution. The issue was the result of my graphic card driver was not up-to-date. ASUS PRIME x470-PRO (mobo), BIOS Ver. 5861, AMD Ryzen 5 2600x, NVIDIA GeForce GT1030. I purchased my GT1030 from Gigabyte. The correct driver was recently (Dec 15, 2021) updated on Gigabyte website. Since installation of the up-to-date graphic card driver, the issue has been resolved - complete attestation, no TPM SCEP Certificate enrollment error w/ Evend ID 86 i.e. complete resolution.

NOTE: Double-check ALL h/w drivers not simply via Windows Update, double-check all h/w drivers from the device manufacturer where you purchased the h/w device - this is critical. Good Luck.

I found a temporary fix , whenever you go into the bios and boot from there this error occurs , so just shutdown your pc and do a normal boot by pressing power key ,it doesn't cause this issue

Its October 26,2022 and this problem still happening! What are they doing?
I have tried to update my BIOS supposedly for this TPM fix and it still doesn't work Im stil getting Critical Process Died with this event SCEP Cert enrollment initialization b.s everytime I launch a game! I have reset and performed clean windows install 2x i have updated all drivers i have benchmarked all hardware everything passed i took my tower to microcenter for them to only charge me 250$ for something that they couldn't fix. This is just it, when i upgraded to Windows 11 which i fully regret now. what a dumb update man. did anyone figure out a complete true fix for this? or should i just go back to windows 10 where everything was running smoothly?

Tuf RTX 3080.
Im giving up with Microsoft man.

All I can say is I was getting those TPM errors in Windows 10 also. I turned TPM off in BIOS settings and have kept the BIOS firmware up to date (Asus) and I stopped getting those errors.
For Windows 11 users that have TPM embedded on the MoBo they (MS) seemingly have not worked out all the bugs and as usual all you get on the forum is the same generic answers that we all know by heart.

It is 20 Nov 2024 & this problem is still around. Unbelievable! My system crashes randomly & the event. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core and Win 11 Pro V 24H2.

After upgrading to win11, the system crashed, but a new one was added to the old error.

Looked at BIOS updates, but the last one is from January 2021, installed it, but doubt it helps.

All/Any BIOS updates must be installed by (you) the end-user. Windows Update can never install a BIOS update. This probably will not get fixed via an update to your BIOS, but you should check for a BIOS update and install the BIOS update. There were many BIOS updates to accommodate Windows 11.

Эта ошибка у меня с августа, на русскоязычных форумах вообще нет ничего. После очередного сбоя я снова начал искать информацию и наконец нашел этот форум:D
Сейчас на win10, ошибка началась еще на ней, пробовал в сентябре ставить win11, но это не помогало и я откатился обратно на win10, сейчас буду снова обновляться на win11
Самое интересное, что вылеты происходят только тогда, когда я работаю, а это серфинг в браузере или zoom встреча. Во время игр никаких проблем никогда не было начиная от NFS undercover, заканчивая PUBG на ультра настройках..

I have had this error since August, there is nothing at all on Russian-language forums. After another crash, I started looking again for information and finally found this forum: D
Now on win10, the error started on it, tried to install win11 in September, but it did not help and I rolled back to win10, now I will update to win11 again
The most interesting thing is that crashes occur only when I work, and this is surfing in a browser or zoom meeting. During the games, there were never any problems starting from NFS undercover, ending with PUBG on ultra settings ..

That highly depends on the games. Today i had 2 crashes just by watching netflix and idling. Sometimes there are crashes in LoL. But I never have had any issues in other games.

@Михаил Овсянников , u said, the error occures with 10? So did u perform a bios update? Cause since Win11 requires TPM, nearly every manufacturer enable fTPM by default with bios updates now. For us, this error seems mostly AMD related and only occures while using TPM2.0 (firmware TPM/ fTPM). If you're on 10, try checking this first. And i hope with the next Updates this gets fixed cause its annoying AF. Win11 is working fine, it's the one and only problem that pushes me further away from 11, back to 10.

In August, I started having problems with crashes, I could not understand for a long time what it was and sinned on RefreshRate Service, also from AMD, but disabling the service did not work, there was an option that this was a problem with the Nvidia video card, but in the mode when I I just work, it is inactive, but the built-in is used.
In September, I received a windows update, I didn't see what kind of update it was and just accepted it with the PC shutdown))
The laptop was updated by itself, in the morning I already found win11. I did not update the BIOS manually, it may have happened during a system update.
The problems continued and I began to additionally sin on win11 due to the fact that it is raw and unoptimized.
I rolled the system back to win10 by restoring the factory settings (the installer is sewn into the laptop), but the problem also did not stop, I even tried not to install any updates, but it was all in vain.

PS. I also liked Win11, it somehow reminded me of macOS and, as for me, looks very light and cute.

В августе у меня начались проблемы с вылетами, я долго не мог понять что это такое и грешил на RefreshRate Service, тоже от AMD, но отключение службы ничего не дало, был вариант, что это проблема с видеокартой Nvidia, но в режиме, когда я просто работаю она неактивна, а используется встроенная.
В сентябре мне прилетело обновление windows, я не посмотрел что это был за апдейт и просто принял его с выключением ПК))
Ноутбук обновился сам по себе, утром я уже обнаружил у себя win11. BIOS я вручную не обновлял, возможно, это произошло при обновлении системы.
Проблемы продолжились и я начал дополнительно грешить на win11 из-за того, что она сырая и неоптимизированная.
Я откатил систему обратно до win10 путем восстановления заводских настроек(установщик вшит в ноутбук), но проблема также не прекратилась, пробовал даже не ставить никаких обновлений, но все тщетно.

PS. Мне тоже понравилась Win11, она чем-то напомнила мне macOS и как по мне, выглядит очень легкой и симпатичной.

Same for me. I'm not a gamer. I am on my computer constantly as a grad student with few programs open, namely just Chrome and Word. Sometimes Zoom to conduct interviews but really, that is it.

It is so frustrating being in the middle of writing research to have it crash. I don't have the time or patience for this.

I feel for you! Nerve racking to watch productivity come to a halt.
When you have the time & if you care to divulge, it could help/assist others in identifying correcting issues especially if a fix is released so as to better understand users experiencing this error/issue.
What CPU are you using? AMD Intel?
GPU?
Mobo?

Sure thing! I have spent enough time trying to look for information that replicates and addresses this issue, and if nothing else it makes me feel the tiniest better that I am not the only one.

AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
ROG Crosshair Hero VIII wi-fi.

Not sure I have anything else to add that hasn't already been pointed out. One interesting tidbit, if I am on Zoom when it freezes (whether a one on one or a webinar) I can still listen or speak with whomever throughout the freeze. I just literally cannot do anything else. Unfortunately, I use Zoom to auto-transcribe my interviews and I lose that transcript when it freezes.

So what ends up still functional is internet, audio (speaker/mic), and usually the mouse (though I have had it freeze on occasion too).

You should check your bios and look for something like fTPM and disable it. Win10 shouldnt have this problem
